I have retuned my modem awhile ago and still did not receive a refund for it.
how can I check whats the status of it?

There is no automatic credit and reimbursement after a device calculation. To do this, you have to contact customer service after you have received the email via the device inbox.
The mods can do that here too, it is important to know in which federal state your connection was.

unfortunately, our billing system does not allow it any other way. The invoice on which the credit appears is always deducted immediately from the credit. We can not prevent this and intervene manually, sorry.

So basically, im getting "store credit" as a refund?
also, this was about 250 euros, meaning about 5 months but following this thread:
I'm not really getting the service I am paying for.
so it will be a min of 3 months with reduced payments.
so, in order to get the full refuand, it will take about 8-9+ months, which is over my current contract time-frame.
is that the case?

the cost of the device is not 250€, but 100€. The credit note has already been issued with the January invoice. This was also offset immediately and now also the February. Thus, the credit is used up.
