Sorry for writing in English, I feel more confident with describing my problem this way.
I am experiencing significant connection issues with my Vodafone CableMax 1000 service over the past few days and would greatly appreciate any assistance or support.
Service Plan: Vodafone CableMax 1000
Modem: Privately owned FritzBox 6690
Firmware: FritzBox Firmware 7.57
Issues:
- My modem struggles to find any signal, and most of the time, the modem logs display "Cable internet not responding (no synchronization)".
- I have to frequently re-plug the coaxial cable into one of the DATA ports at home every 10 minutes. Occasionally, after about half an hour, the modem might detect the cable internet, but then it fails to acquire IPv6 or IPv4 addresses. This results in all my pings and packet traces being lost. In this case the modem logs display "Could not establish IPv6 internet connection: No response from DHCPv6 server (SOL)"
Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:
- Replaced the coaxial cable.
- Turned off the modem for extended periods.
- Performed a factory reset on the modem.
Despite these efforts, the problem persists. Any suggestions about what should I do? btw, answers in German are very much appreciated.
