Hello,
I am porting the DSL Internet service from O2 to Vodofone. The technician appoinment is set on 8 Aug 2022.
Since it's porting from one provider to another and the termination date for the contract of the previous DSL provider is in September, I assume I don't have to pay for Vodofone and O2 providers for the month of August and September 2022. Let me know if my understanding is correct
If I have to pay the bill for both the providers, then please let me know if I can postpone the technician apoointment till end of my other contract

Hi Vinay,
if the DSL connection is activated on August 8th, it will also be charged from that day. I can't tell you whether your old provider will still charge for the contract beyond this day. You can ask O2 about this.
The switch-on date can be postponed free of charge up to 3 working days before the date.
