Hi!
I live in Berlin (10435), and my internet connection frequently gets disconnected in the evening. For example, on Monday 07/05 at 22.30, Friday 11/05 at 16.30 and Sunday 13/05 at 18h30.
When it appears, every connection is have gets closed (I am disconnect from game and chat servers), and ping stops working. The fritzbox (6490 Cable) reports that it's not hotter than usual when it happens. The connection comes back after a few minutes, but then it usually continues on and off for a few hours.
Can I do something to stop these disconnections?

Hello Georges,
do the disconnects happen with a WiFi connection as well as with an ethernet connection? I would like to check your modem, please send me your customer number and address in a private message. Reply here after you sent the data. When was the last disconnect?

I sent you the information by private message.
I've seen similar disconnects on wifi connections, but have not checked on both as it happened. I will next time.
The last time I noticed troubles was last Sunday (the 13th), at 18h30. I will update this thread if this happens again.

since the last disconnection on May 13th, your box is permanently connected.
Have you noticed any more disturbances?

Hi,
I noticed some more troubles on May 18th after 18h, though not as heavy as the previous one. I was able to test both wired and wireless connections, and in both cases running the ping command would show me high latencies (1000ms) and packet loss.

I hope it's okay to continue in this topic.
I had noticed no problem for the last month. But the same problem just occured again: I got disconnected from the game server I was connected to, and a `ping -t 8.8.8.8` shows a lot of packet loss. It happened at least 3 times, the second and third being around 21:40 and 22:05.
The fritzbox interface seem to have no info related to this (event log is empty). I'm wondering there's something about this you can see on your side.

can you send us a pingplotter please? There we can see in which areas of the network problems arise. Screenshot should be enough 🙂

a problem is also, that you have only one upstream at your HomeBox.
Have you time for a rechnician? Did you have a german phone number? Let me know it in a pm.
