Hello there, vodafone community!
My current plan is: Red Internet & Phone 50 Cable.
However, I cannot enable the 50 mbit/s uplink. The button is simply missing from the list of available bookable options. Is it not available under my tariff?
I have contacted vodafone support center, they've sent me here with no sensible replies. Unfortunately, local moderator Lars was unable to assist me with my case, when I've reached him over the private messaging channel.
Any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Hey Manu, thanks for your message!
You are quite right, faster upload works now for me. I gave up hopes to get an answer and simply re-tried the same action I took two weeks ago with the button in my vodafone dashboard. This time the button did it's job.
For those newer ISP clients that might come across this after googling for a solution, here's a short summary:
1. I wanted more upload speed for my home internet connection, so I've decided to pay extra for the upload option 50. Navigated to the dashboard and hit the corresponding button. This produced no results. Multiple reports from other users on this issue, e.g: one, two.
2. Next logical thing (as it seemed) was contacting the customer support. CS said "to solve your problem, please visit our Vodafone forum". After that the button in the dashboard went MIA... Nicely done.
3. So my journey continued to the forum, where there were other people sharing their pain. This topic, which ended in a successful resolution, looked promising. I've sent a direct message to the person who solved the problem there, asking to do the same for me. The answer was "Please don't send private messages to any of the Vodafone hosts (Moderatoren) spontaneously". Erm.
4. This topic was born, and some time later another moderator jumped in asking for the very same details that were shared in step (3). So a copy of the message was sent to this other moderator.
5. After another some days of no support and no response from the moderator I sent my details to, I simply went to the dashboard again, and found my option50 button there. This time it worked. Got 27 out of 50 advertised mbit/s of upload speed (Berlin Mitte).
6. Third moderator asks whether I've got any questions left.
TL;DR: If you are a new vodafone customer, and are willing to get the upload50, and you are here by now, just duplicate this thread (there are ca. 300 of them as of 22.02.2019) and prepare your patience 🙂 I've got an impression that Vodafone CS uses this forum as their issue tracking system.
Love & kisses to all.

Which device do you use?
It has to be one of the following devices according to the AGB:
- AVM FRITZ!Box 6490 Cable (HomeBox 3)
- Hitron CVE-30360
- Compal CH6640E
- Technicolor TC7200K
- Compal CH7466CE
- Sagemcom FAST5460
And I could also imagine that the Upload-50-Option can only be booked if there is enough "space" left in the Upstream.

Hey,
I can have a look at the connection 🙂 Do you send me your customer data (customer number, name, address and date of birth of the contract owner) via private message?
Please let me know in the article when you have sent me the data.
Regards
Tobias

Hi curiousmonkey,
I have seen, you have already registered today and the upload option has been booked for you.
Do you have any questions?
Best Regards, Manu

Hi curiousmonkey,
that's what we call magic (or maybe one of Murphy's laws) 🙂 . Good to read that you could book the option now, have fun with the extra speed. I will close here now.
Kind regards
Claudia
