Cancel Contract Request

Hello,

My cable contract (Red Internet & Phone 200 Cable) will end in February 2020. 

I do not want to extend it. 

Therefore I apply in advance to the contract. 

Please stop it after February 2020, and so send me a confirmation with the exact day the Internet wants to stop. 

If any other papers are needed, please let me know.

Two things:

A) You cancellation request has to be passed to Vodafone using any official contact way (e.g. by classic mail, using the contact form), this forum is NOT an official way and in so far your request here is not legally binding. Please note that your request has to be made in German language as this is the sole contractual language.

B) I'm afraid you request is too late - you usually have to pass your cancellation request at least 3 months before the contract ends (for contracts with 24 months minimum contractual term) - which in case of an ending in February would meant that the request would have to be received by Vodafone at least in November. In so far your contract will automatically renew for another year as your cancellation request was not done in time.
