Cancelletion of contract complaint

I sent a request in July 2024 to cancel my contract on the 27th October 2024 as I was returning to UK as part of the British Military in October 2024. I sent a letter to Vodafone customer care, email address which I was given from our local Vodafone dealer. I never heard back so again went to my local dealer who didn't want to know or take my equipment. I resent my letter to customer service 3 times. On my last day in Germany I went to the local shop asking them to take my equipment and to contact customer services, they did not want to know. I keep getting invoices from Vodafone I have tried to reply but it bounces back, I have tried to contact customer services with no luck. Now I have a threatening letter. This is a failing of vodafone for not actioning or acknowledging my correspondence. I still have the equipment which if you can send a box to return it to you I am more than happy. If you contact me acknowledging the account is closed I will send you my address in UK to send your return box to. I hope we can get this issue resolved as soon as possible.  Can anyone help
