Hello. I live in Charlottenburg and I am experiencing Wi-Fi Connection problems similar to the ones described in this thread: https://forum.vodafone.de/t5/Internet-Telefon-TV-%C3%BCber-Kabel/Wifi-connection-problems/m-p/269807...
Basically my wired internet connection is fine (so my laptop has internet because it is connected to the router via ethernet cable) but my wi-fi is HORRIBLE and i cannot get a consistent connection (if I can get a connection at all) on my phone. I tried with multiple devices (including multiple laptops) and they all suffer from connection issues through wi-fi. This only started recently (i've had the contract with vodafone since March I believe). I tried calling the service hotlines but they couldn't help me as they don't speak english and they referred me to write here in the forums. Hopefully I will be able to get some help here 🙂 Thank you in advance!

Hello MarioSavos,
welcome to the community 🙂
Can you please describe the problem in more detail? A reference to another customer is not helpful 😞 Does the problem with WLAN occur on all devices in the household at the same time? Have you tried to optimize the WLAN? What exactly is happening in your WLAN network?
Best regards Fred

Hello Fred!
Sorry for the late reply (busy week). To your question about optimizing the WLAN - Yes i've visited the guide and tried it, it didn't help.
In regards to describing the actual problem:
- The wireless connection is unstable, especially when moving between rooms. What I mean by this is even if establish a connection while in the living room (where my router is located) when i switch to another room the connection drops. This didn't happen before (it only started a few weeks ago). What is more, after the connection drops I have trouble re-connecting. As you can see on the screenshot I get an error saying "couldn't connect" even though the password is correct. This happens multiple times in a row so it is very hard to actually connect. This also happens sometimes in the living room by the way, it's not isolated to the other rooms. And again, i had NO problems before, it only started 2-3 weeks ago. ALSO, I should note that I don't think it's due to interference or weak signal as the device shows all bars for the connection in every room of my apartment (the apartment is 60 m2).
- The connection can be slow, especially in certain apps. For some reason at times it has trouble loading apps like twitter (images not loading) or instagram or even websites. It seems random as it can work fine in one app and then not load another app at the same time. I am not sure what the issue is. This has happened on multiple devices so I don't think it's a problem with my phone.
I hope this helps, if you have any questions for anything specific let me know 🙂

Hi Marion,
can you please perform a factory reset with our router and then test with the default settings?

Wallace

Hello again 🙂 So I performed a factory reset and so far it seems to have fixed the issue. I will keep monitoring and update this thread if anything comes up or any issues arise.
Thank you for the assistance!
