Internet activation- not working

Hi All

I received this morning my Vodafone station 6 for internet-kabel.

Station has been powered and cable connected from the wall to the modem but the light on the router flashes meaning there is a lack of internet connection.

where can I check if it has been activated or not and what should I do?

For your info: I tried also by connecting the adapter even I suppose not so useful because I got the data hole in the wall...still the same issue, I need to solve it as soon as possible because there is no phone line in the apartment and I need internet to work from home.
