Hi, I wrote to Vodafone mentioned that I want to end my 'Red Internet & Phone 500 Cable (ab dem 2. Jahr 49,99 €/mtl.)' from August 31st, 2021, however, I received one email said my contract will end on July 2nd,2022, I suppose this is because my contract has been automatically extended one year to July 2nd,2022. My problem is that I will move out of my current apartment, and my new apartment already has one internet service, so how can i stop the contract immediately because of this movement? I am not a German speaker, so the hotline is helpless to me, it would be nice to contact through email, but I cannot find one customer email address from Vodafone.

If you do not cancel in good time (the cancellation must be received at least 3 months before the end of the contract), the contract will be extended again and again by 12 months.
Use the relocation service in MeinVodafone to report the move, everything else will follow. If the connection is available at the new place of residence, it will move with you. If it is technically not available, the contract will be terminated with a 3-month notice period.

It does not matter whether there is already an Internet connection in the new apartment. You have signed a contract for 24 months and you have to adhere to it. According to German law, there is a special right of termination with a notice period of 3 months from the date of the move only if the connection in the new apartment is technically not feasible. Otherwise the contract will move with you.

Hello @ximei ,
if you move, normally your contract moves with you. The fact, that there is already internet is no reason for an earlier cancelation. There are only two reasons for an earlier cancelation:
1. In your new apartment is also a Vodafone (Cable or DSL) contract, then one of the contracts could be terminated as a gesture of goodwill.
2. Your actual contract can not be realized at the new adress. In this case, the contract can be terminated with a notice period of three month, beginning with the date of move. It could be possible, that Vodafone wants to see your registration certificate with the new adress.
Is there one of the two reasons? If not, you can cancel for July, 2, 2022

After the 24 month the contract will renew always for one year without cancellation. So there is no chance to cancel earlier, if the two reasons i wrote before are not applicable.
