Monthly renewal after planned termination of cable contract?

Hi there, 

As arranged, my cable contract will be terminated on 05.12.2022. Considering that the status of the service was not as bad as the cause of termination lately, I'm considering continuing the service if I can get a monthly contract. 

I hear that due to new regulations, after 24 months of contract, they can be switched to monthly. Would appreciate if a staff could kindly explain what my options are here.

The initial length is 24 month. After this you can cancel it within a month. And this is no option, this is the actual law. But for this you need an uncanceled contract with 24 month or more.

If you already cancelled your contract, the contract WILL end at the given date. There's no "option" to actively renew the contract for just a month after that date - you would have had to not send a cancellation...
