Hi. I am a new unity media customer. i've received vodafone station and connected it at my house but there is no internet connection. The internet LED on the vodafone station os blinking in red for more than 2 days. When I connected to the router, I get a message saying DOCSIS is offline.

Unfortunately I cannot speak German and it has been a nightmare in getting english speaking custome agent.

Anyone aware of this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated.

A return channel notch filter was certainly meant.

Usually they have a key.

They will contact you.

Or you can contact Unitymedia again, that would be the best option.

The best thing to do is contact Unitymedia help on Facebook.

I guess the house belongs to a "NE4"-Provider.
Unitymedia is not allowed to remove anything
The owner of your appartement or house service could give you more Infos about it.

If a NE4 operator is responsible on site, Unitymedia knows that too.

The contact person remains Unitymedia as long as it is not known whether a NE4 operator is responsible

Thank you Scoopi and Plumper. I have been following up with unity media customer service. Looks like it is not NE4 but is infact DT net. I was told that there is no cable connection at all in two houses of my building as the owners' parents who were living there before us objected so the cable connection needs to be built first. They told me DT net will call me to book an appointment to do this. I am not sure how much of an effort it is and how long is it going to take, I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping it would be resolved ASAP. I cant even move to different provider as there is no cable at all.

It's strange.

DT means Telekom?

I don't know the technology on site, so I can't say much about it.

So there seems to be a ban on marketing which means you cannot use Unitymedia.

But it may also be that Unitymedia simply has to lay a line.

However, you have to clarify all this with Unitymedia.

Thank you Scoopi. I am still chasing unity media to get this sorted. All they tell me they need DT net to lay cable and DT net needs email from unitymedia for it. I am trying to get unity media to send that. If it does not work out, I will have to cancel the connection sadly and look out for alternatives. On another there is this socket in the house which I am not sure what it is. Can I use it for internet? If yes, how? I think previous tenants wete using it for phone if I am not wrong.

Appreciate all your help on this.

This is DSL i.E. Telekom or any other DSL-Provider.
Unitymedia don't work with this.
