Hi there, I am very sorry but I don't speak much German because I just moved here so I am in the process of learning. I troed to connect to my home internet this afternoon and I got a Fehler 691 message. I'm all it says is DSL Benutzername / Passwort falsch. I have been a customer since Feb and I have been paying for my bills on time so I don't know what is going on. It just stopped working this afternoon. So what I did was request a new MIC code and I also restarted the modem. Both didn't work. I read that after restarting I should log into a website and it will ask for for the MIC code, but this hasn't happened. Can you please help me?? I really need the internet. I can email you separately my customer # and all other details of my contract. Many thanks in advance!

Hi Cath,

welcome in the vodafone community.

Sorry to hear, that your landline is not working properly.
This easybox errorcode means "Wrong Username / Password".

There are only 2 possible reasons:

Either - the dsl account is locked (because of outstanding payments).
Or the easybox was configured with an old modeminstallationcode.

Restarting the router won't reset the modeminstallationcode.
Please reset the device. Therefore , with an sharp item f.e. pencil, please push for 5 to 10 seconds into to resethole on the backside of the router.
In case of our most popular easybox 804 - the hole is on the backside,  in the bottom right above the restart button.

If you have connected a lancable / wlan connection with your pc - open a new browser. Then an webassistant will guide you through the activation process.
Otherwise you could just use your telephone (if its connected with the easybox) pick up the telephone receiver and follow the instructions.

If this didn't help , please send me a private message with your customernumber/password.
Therefore click on my Name . Then on the right side "Diesem Benutzer eine private Nachricht senden" .

Then I'll have an closer look.

Kind regards,
Andre
