Hello Vodafone Customer support team, i urgently need solution for my WiFi / Internet problems with Vodafone router.
Connection type: Vodafone CableMax 1000
(Glasfaser Kabel Netz)
Issue: problem with Router tg3442de
Problem type: Frequent internet and WiFi disconnections in a day. Started happening since last 6-7 days (before that it worked all fine last 2 years).
- Sometimes WiFi disconnects but Internet (devices connected by cable to the router) works. But most of times both WiFi + Internet does not work.
- We wait for minutes / hours. It does not come back.
- Rebooting the router: partially solves the problem but only for some minutes or hours. It start happening again.
- problem happen both during the day or night times
- the problem has started affecting our office work from home / online meetings / the studies of kids at home / online classes
- I have tried all possible options as mentioned by others on Vodafone forums. Connecting to Vodafone online customer support has not been of great help either: chatbot does not reach any conclusive end , and Vodafone support does not end up connecting our long lengthy calls to any technical support person.
Only solution possible (in my opinion) : to send the latest version of router or another working router.
I am so fed up with all of this that If the problem cannot be solved urgently I will have no option left to cancel all my Home internet + Mobile phone contracts with Vodafone and switch immediately to some other reliable service provider 😞
