What does "X Option WLAN" mean when I try to change router to a FritzBox?

Hello Vodafone support!

I decided to replace my CBN CH7466CE router with a FritzBox 6660. I go through the step-by-step guide in the user portal and at the last step I'm being informed that "Option WLAN" is going to be deactivated as the result of this action (see picture below).

What does that mean? What is "Option WLAN" even? And why is it being deactivated?

Check your bills, there this option should be listed, you pay extra to use the WLAN with your old router. With the Fritzbox it is included, so you don't need it anymore.

Hey Peter!

Yes, there is Option WLAN in the Rechnung, although I pay 0 euro for that. I still don't understand what difference it makes, but if I don't need it for a FritzBox then it's fine. I can now move on with the process.
