Hello,
I have currently contract for Red Internet and Phone 50 Kabel
I am moving out of my apartment and relocating to another city. At the new address the kabel internet is not available. On the internet I can see DSL is available.
What are my option in this case ? Can i just cancel my contract with the reason that said service is not available at the new address. I dont want to pay cabel internet charges and get the DSL speed.
Can someone from modrator help me out?

Hello mota,
you simply notify us of your move via our online moving service. We will then check whether we can continue to supply you. If we cannot continue to supply you at your new address, your contract will be terminated with 3 months' notice in accordance with the Telecommunications Act. Alternatively, you can simply switch to DSL if this is available there.

Thanks for your info.
I checked on the vodafone website about the availaibility of the Kabel service on the new address.
The Kabel service is not available at the new address. The website suggests DSL.
1) As a customer I don't want to pay Kabel internet price and get the DSL service. I can sent you my current and new address if that helps.
2) what happens when I fill the form mentioned ? Will I have the option to accept/reject what vodafone has to offer?

Hi mota,
at the bottom of the DSL overview page you find the item "Du möchtest kein DSL? Zurück zur Umzugsmeldung". Then you can continue without ordering DSL.

@NancyDoes that mean I have keep paying 3 months of bill even if vodafone does not provide kabel-deutschland service at the new address ?
When does this 3 months notice period starts. I will move to my new apartment on 01.04. So do I have to pay the bill till 20.06.2022 ?

It is important that you notify us of your move. Please excuse me for making a mistake with the deadline, which is one month. You will receive confirmation of the exact date when your colleagues have received your move notification.

my umzugtermin has changed to 01.03
Can you help me change the date in umzugsmeldung. I tried to doing online but there is no option to update. I also called the helpline with no luck after waiting for 30 mins.
