Hello,
I live in Hamburg and have a Vodafone Cable modem installed in my living room. I connect the cabel modem to a wifi router in bridged mode, and I use the wifi in the rest of the house. I have a desktop computer in my bedroom, but the wifi signal is not strong enough in that room, and I really want a wired connection to my desktop. The bedroom has the same kind of cabel point/outlet as my living room. Is it possible to get a second cable modem on my own (for example, Cisco, EPC3212) and connect it to the wall cable outlet and configure it ? Or would that modem be blocked by Vodafone ?
Thanks in advance.

Besides the fact that the Cisco EPC3212 does not meet the minimum requirements for own devices, you can only use exactly ONE device for a contract. If you want to use a second device for whatever reason, you need to have a second contract.
The easiest way to get more WiFi coverage is by using additional wired WiFi AccessPoints (preferred solution) or to use WiFi Repeaters (whereas they have downsides for performance due to using the same frequency and therefor in most cases reducing the bandwidth by half).

Thanks for the reply @reneromann. I suppose I will focus my energies towards pulling a LAN wire to the other room then.
