Problem with contract transfer

Hello,

 

I have a problem with transferring the internet contract from the previous tenant to me.

 

The contract of the previous tenant was to be terminated on Dec 21, so in the middle of October we filled the form 297 and sent it via fax to Vodafone. On Dec 13 I had called to the call center (which was hard for me since I have only beginner skills in German), trying to find out what is the status of the transfer and I was told that everything is fine and that I'll get my new contract soon by post. But instead of that several days later, the previous tenant gets an email from Vodafone that some more forms from us are needed. We filled these new forms (very similar to the form 297) sent them on Dec 20 by fax.

 

Then yesterday, on Jan 2, the previous tenant gets an email that his contract is now finished and cannot be transferred to me, so we have to return the router to Vodafone.

 

The whole situation looks very strange and we ask for help here.

Do I understand you correctly that you want to take over the contract from your friend and that your friend has been sent a new contract instead?

 

I´d like to have a closer look at this.

 

To comprehend your reasoning, please send us the customer data from both contracts and the customer password via pn.

Thank you for your help. Yes, I want to take over the contract of my colleague, who has left Germany.

Maybe the problem is that he started the procedure of termination of his contract, but after that we decided to make the takeover.

 

I sent the personal details via private message. I don't have a customer password since I'm not a client yet. The colleague of mine will send you the password directly.

 

We would be very grateful if there exists a solution to the problem without sending the router back and forth.

I've received your data from Kim and I'll take it from here. I'm sorry that it didn't work out as you would have wished. With Vodafone Kabel a contract transfer unfortunately runs somewhat differently, than with DSL. The form you filled out is not for cable either. Since the contract has already been terminated, or is already terminated, a transfer is not possible and the device must be returned.
You are welcome to conclude a new contract in your name via the homepage.
