Hello. I will move abroad in March, but the contract for my Kabel Deutschland is currently under my name and the monthly payment is debited from my bank account.Is it possible to change the contract on my friend's name and bank account because right now I live in a Wohngemeinschaft with my friends, but they still live here and only I will be moving out. Can you tell me what to do? Thanks for the help

a contract transfer is unfortunately not possible. Your contract can be terminated and your friends can sign a new contract. You can send me your customer number, name, date of birth, old and new address in a private message. Afterwards, please report back here in the article.

I'm gonna take over for Thomas. The process for taking over the contract has changed slightly.

I'll send you a form. Please fill it out and send it back to the address given in the letter. My colleagues will then check a transfer of the contract partner.

I have a question. If I change the contract to my friend's name. Do I still have to pay any fine or anything. Or will my friend take over the contract and pay it like usual.

the contract is changed with all rights and obligations So the payment obligation also passes to the new contract holder.
