Hello,
I'm leaving Germany, and sadly won't need my lovely vodafone kabel internet anymore. Can you please advise how I close the account and return the kabelbox?

you have to report your move with your new address data. We can do that together here. Send me a private message with your name, the current address, the new address, the moving date, the customer number and your date of birth and I need. Then please report again here in the article.

You didn't tell me the new address. Only the country is not enough for me. In addition, you want the contract to be terminated on the move date because you think that you are no longer bound by terms. That is not correct. No matter how old the contract is, if you do not cancel it in time, it will be extended by 12 months. Your move is an exception, but even here the termination is only possible according to the Telecommunications Act (move date + 3 months).
Will you please send me the complete new address?

If the notice period for contract termination is 3 months.
And the notice period to advise that I do not wish for the contract to automatically renew is also 3 months.
Then there should be no difference between termination or advising that it should not renew, as my contract is due to renew on the 1/6/2019.
March. April. May. Three months.
I should not need to provide you with an abmeldung as the end date is the same either way. I wish to have the contract end on the 31st of May, so that it does not renew.
How do we make this happen?

the cancellation has already been processed. The contract ends on 01.06.2019. You have already received a confirmation by mail.
