I have signed a contract with Vodafone through check24.de for my DSL. Unfortunately while signing up for the service on the address for the installation location for our apartment it registered my first and last name. However, on the doorbell, the only name registered is that of my husbands who has a different last name. I'm worried that when the installation people show up they won't be able to locate our apartment since my name is not on the doorbell. I would like to change the name details to that of my husband. Can someone please help me *I do not speak German* btw :(((

welcome to the Vodafone Community!
The easiest way to make sure that the technician finds you, is to just put a paper on top of your door bell.
This way you don't have to change your customer data.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, that would be the easiest but my name is not on the doorbell and neither can I put my name on the doorbell since the address is registered under my husband's name. So how do I change the name of the apt on the Vodafone customer details which the installment people will have when they come to my apt?

you can change your data via our hotline or you send me a private message with your name, your customer number, your customer password and the correct name.

Thank you for your reply Jens, but how do I send you a private message. There is no option which is showing up allows me to do that or perhaps the inbuilt translator into the browser does not tell me what the right option is. Could you please instruct me on how to reach you personally?

I have realized that my order for the internet was through Vodafone cable. Can someone please help me with this who deals with cable connections for the internet?

Hi Stephan,
I have sent you a message. I have also called the hotline and registered my complaint. I have been waiting since Saturday for my device to be delivered. On the DHL website, the same status has been showing for the last 4 days which implies that no re-delivery attempt is being made. Yet I am being billed from the 17th of this month. This is very disappointing 😞

Dear Stephan, *PLEASE* check your private message I have received no update from you or anyone in vodafone other than my shipment is being sent BACK to DHL after having waited for a re-delivery attempt it is being sent BACK!
I have sat home now for 4 days and missed work just for my package to be delivered and instead the only notification i get is a notice that it is being returned!
Yes, there is already a piece of paper saying my name on the bell box but what's the use of that is no one even wants to deliver my package???

Hi Priyu,
we can't just put another name in the contract. As an alternative it would be possible to enter the name of your husband only for the shipping of the hardware.
