Hi there
Since thursday my router (KabelRouter) stopped broadcasting signal on 2.4 Ghz. It works on 5 Ghz only. I have two laptops and one mobile phone without internet anymore. I tried unplugging the router several times, also removing known networks from mobile and laptops and rebooting them, but they just can not find the SSID. Also tried to change the channel for 2.4 Ghz, in case there were signal problems on that channel, but the router always keep using channel 1.
Looking at the router status I also realized it was restarted some hours before I noticed the 2,4 Ghz network stopped working, and I did do that, so I guess there was firmware update ?
Kind Regards
Sergio

Hello Sergio39,
what's the type of the router? Did you try a factory reset?
Kind regards

Hi Claudia
I did try factory reset, just tried once again, but no luck. SSID still does not appear in 2.4 Ghz band.
Please find firmware version in case it helps
The router model is WLAN-Kabelrouter Vodafone Station (ARRIS tg3442de)
Firmware-Version AR01.01.117.01_091718_70.PC20.10

Hello, Sergio39,
can the connection be set up manually with SSID, type of encryption and password?
Best regards Fred

Hi
Unfortunately not, the devices are not able find the SSID (those who use only 2.4 Ghz)
