Still no bridge mode for former Unitymedia customers?

I'm a former Unitymedia customer in Hessen.  Near the beginning of the year, I saw several posts here promising that the Vodafone Station would support Bridge-Mode "soon".  Almost a year has passed and as far as I can tell there is still no such option visible in the customer service interface.  Is there any news?  If it's still not available, can Vodafone offer any other solutions *now*, for those of us who find the Station's performance as a router to be unacceptable?

Ich bin ein ehemaliger Unitymedia-Kunde in Hessen. Anfang des Jahres sah ich hier mehrere Posts, die versprachen, dass die Vodafone Station "bald" den Bridge-Modus unterstützen würde. Fast ein Jahr ist vergangen und soweit ich das beurteilen kann, ist in der Kundendienstoberfläche noch keine solche Option sichtbar. Gibt es Neuigkeiten? Wenn es immer noch nicht verfügbar ist, kann Vodafone * jetzt * andere Lösungen für diejenigen von uns anbieten, die die Leistung der Station als Router als inakzeptabel empfinden?

We are now well past a year with no Bridge-Modus in sight.  In the meantime, every few weeks, the gateway turns its WLAN back on, my own AP's WLAN performance degrades, and I have to log back into the gateway to turn it back off.

 

Vodafone sent a customer satisfaction survey last week.  I would have given an 8 or 9 ranking just based on the service speed, price, and uptime, but based on this terrible gateway hardware, the score was not so good.

I'm sorry that this continues to make you unhappy. Unfortunately, we do not have any news for you regarding bridge mode.

remove wifi option from your contract and it cannot turn on automatically  😉
