My Internet speed/quality is very bad (10-100Mbs from 200 by the contract)

Duering last month-two I have really big problems with Vodafone internet.

Some times I have NO Internet at all. Sometimes the speed is dropping up to 20Mbps. 

My contract is for 200Mbps but always, when I make test by https://speedtest.vodafone.de/ , I have 20-100 Mbps for Server - Modem connection.

Several times I tried to write messages to service - no reaction, called by phone - nobody in Vodafone can speak English!!! I am really diappointed!

Hello neronovs,

 

did you test the speed via ethernet connection? Is the device and the ethernet cable capable of the speed or do you use fast ethernet devices? Do you lose the connection with both WiFi and ethernet devices or with WiFi only? How often does this happen?

Did you test the speed via ethernet connection? First my tests, the results on the Screen shot, were done with LAN (ethernet) connection.

This evening I have tested the connection through both WIFI/LAN - more or less (wifi ~ 15-40Mbps, lan ~ 100-140Mbps). 

Is the device and the ethernet cable capable of the speed or do you use fast ethernet devices? I use WIFI and LAN connections on the modem that is provided by Vodafone and my laptop (Mac pro) is about 4-5 meters from the modem, not far. It should not be so bad speed with this distance.

Do you lose the connection with both WiFi and ethernet devices or with WiFi only? Both (WIFI and LAN)!

How often does this happen? It was every day, time-to-time was NO connection at all. Sometimes I have zoom meetings it is not possible to listen or to tell anything. 

Today I have again problems with the Internet. Look to the attached screen shot, please.

the signal on you upstreams and downstreams is quite weak. It looks better at the other modems in the building, so please replace the coaxial cable as a first step. If that doesn't help, I'd like to send a technician that checks the line on location. Can you provide access to the house installation? It is usually located in the basement. Is the phone number ***351 up-to-date? Are there symptoms in your household that might be linked to Covid-19?

Sometimes it works good (downstream by wifi is getting up to 60-70Mbps), but sometimes is really bad. I agree that it could by because of many users in the house are using the same channels. I beleive that it would be a chance to try to change the channel to check if it helps. 

Can you provide access to the house installation? Yes, I can, but I have access only to my flat.

Is the phone number ***351 up-to-date? Yes, this phine number is our.

Are there symptoms in your household that might be linked to Covid-19? Nobody is sick in our flat.

I made the task for the technician. I don't think he will need access to the other modems, but please make sure that he can reach the transfer point. It can usually be found in the basement, maybe the janitor can help if you don't have a key yourself.

Dear provider, 

currently I had a visit from your competitor Telekom. They promoted a service with better quality and less price.

If to be honest, I would prefer not to change my Internet provider, but only if the Internet quality will be absolute.

Please, increase your width of your channel, because it is impossible to work with you and I will be forced to change my INternet provider from you to Telekom for example.
