Internet extremely slow – dropped from 350+ Mbps to 38 Mbps since 3 weeks

For the past 3 weeks I have been experiencing major issues with my internet speed. I am a Vodafone Kabel Deutschland customer with the following contract:

 

  • Customer Number: 732xxxxxx
  • Contract Number: 773xxxxxx
  • Product: Red Internet & Phone 1000 Cable

Up until recently, I was consistently getting around 350+ Mbps download. Since about 3 weeks ago, however, my speed has dropped dramatically to just ~38-60 Mbps download

The problem persists regardless of:

  • Time of day (tested mornings, afternoons, evenings)
  • Connection type (LAN or Wi-Fi, same issue)
  • Device (PC, laptop, smartphone)
  • Router/modem restarts (done multiple times)

 

Upload speed is also worse. Streaming stutters, online meetings drop, and working from home has become nearly impossible.

 

 

I kindly request:

 

  1. A thorough check of my line and, if necessary, a technical repair/dispatch. A new connection was installed as i recently moved my connection to new address.
  2. Information whether there is a known outage in the Kaiserslautern area

 

If the issue persists and not resolved i will have no choice but to cancel it. Thank you in advance for your quick assistance.
