Ordered a Move two weeks ago for my DSL to my new address. 

I wasn't sure if the order had gone through since the exam successful screen only flashed briefly, and I never received a confirmation email or letter. A week later as I was still unsure I ordered a move again, and did get the exam successful screen.  It has been over two weeks now and I am already living at my new residence and have received no confirmation. And can confirm I have still not received a letter at my old address. I can no longer visit my old address so I can no longer check the mail for there from today onwards. 

 

I have plugged in my modem but there is no internet at my new home. 

Its extremely frustrating as I assumed it would be a simple process and think it might just be easier to cancel my contract and go with a new ISP. I've paid two weeks for no internet and need internet access for medical based devices.  Extremely frustrating. I would appreciate someone to check the status of my order and give me an estimate of when I will be connected.

Two weeks is too short for a DSL move.

You will have to wait until the Technician from Telekom activates the line - which can take some weeks depending on their overall customers backlog.

Still no internet, been trying to contact vodafone relentlessly through TOBI, I have also attempted to use the contact form Multiple times to explain my situation (which refuses to log me in to my vodafone account, then when I proceed with all the contact details it wont let me proceed, it either says I either can't pass the captcha or my password is wrong, or just wont let me proceed on the page with no further information as to why), I have tried vodafone 18 times over the past few days, but the line is always busy, I have had them call me through TOBI 4 times, and it has hung up on me every single time after a long wait on hold, I have tried to check the moving-status link that TOBI gives to me, and every time it gives me an error, when I try to explain the link does not work, the chat bot hangs up on me. 
I am so sick of this service. I will be cancelling my service due to the poor customer support. and If I am charged for the remainder of my contract I will be lodging a claim with my local small claims court who have already said they will take on my case. 
Disgusting service. I used to work for Vodafone and seeing how poorly they treat their customers now is a disgrace. |
I just want to know the status of my DSL so I know when it will be connected and if I need to wait for an appointment with a technician. Don't know where else to turn since the only feedback at all I have received is through the community

Just here to update I still have no internet. have called over 58 times over the past few weeks, cannot get through to a human. I had a technician finally come to the property today... and what a flipping surprise, THEY CAME TO MY OLD ADDRESS in another city!!! Tech confirmed nothing in the system has been updated, I cannot get in touch with a human at vodafone (let alone in english which support was promised when I first signed the contract, and no that did not include using watsapp which I am being forced to use which again, was not part of my contract) . utter incompetence, and in the mean time they have also overcharged me for the past two months. WTF is going on with Vodafone??? It sure isn't the same since I used to work there!!! 
I am being scammed and I feel cheated... I have serious medical situation going on in my life and require the internet... and yet I am wasting my important time and days just trying to sort out a move from my old address to my new address... WTF... I am so disgusted. 
PLEASE for the love of all goodness DO NOT sign up with Vodafone. They lie in their contract, they cannot move your service to a new address and cancellation will cause them to charge you the remainder of the 24 months of your contract. An utter scam.
