Ultra Hub 7 Cable Internet Not Working

Hello, I just received my Ultra Hub 7 today & the contract paperwork said it was activated & ready for connection. I followed the instructions & ensured good plug connections, but the internet LED is continuously blinking red (WiFi LED is steady green). I have reset the router, power cycled, checked connections, but it still will not work. I am not sure if the contract is activated? I just moved to Germany from the US (only speak English) & I am trying to get connected quickly. I am in a rental duplex & there was cable box in the basement (photo attached) but it didn’t matter if it was plugged in or not when I tried to connect the hub upstairs. I do not know what I’m doing wrong.. Any assistance to get online would be appreciated. Danke schön!

du machst wahrscheinlich gar nichts falsch 

kontaktiere den Support über WhatsApp (nur da gibt es Support in Englisch) und melde, dass die Selbstinstallation fehlgeschlagen ist :

PS: der Verstärker (auf dem Foto ganz unten) hat Strom?

 

Hello, thank you for your response! I will contact them via WhatsApp. The bottom photo/box in the basement is an amplifier? But yes, I plugged it in thinking that was the issue, but no change.

Yes, the bottom box is an amplifier. Without it, the cable connection would not work.

I have the feeling you are using the wrong antenna outlet.

BFBS is British Forces Broadcasting Service - I wouldn't be surprised if this outlet is connected to a different cable provider and not the Vodafone network.

 

Maybe you find another antenna outlet in your flat...
