Hi,
Excuse me for writing this in English as my German isn't good enough. I am having trouble loading Instagram content over my wifi setup at home. I did a speed test and download is around 300 and upload is around 50. I have a 1000 mbps plan. Other apps like Facebook and Gmail seems to work but Instagram doesn't load at all. When I switch to mobile data ( vodafone), it immediately loads. I even changed the settings to never load high resolution images for Instagram, still no change. Instagram works over other WiFi connections, just doesn't work on my home Vodafone WiFi. Please help on this.
Thanks,
Megha

Hi MJ24,
thank you very much for your feedback.
Do you only use the router for the WLAN or do you also have repeaters or powerline adapters in your network?
Kind regards

Hi @R4mona ,
I only use the router for my WLAN at home. Even though the speedtest shows no issues, most of the Apps doesn't work with this WiFi.

Hi MJ24,
what about network. Did you already seperated it in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz?
If not, try this out please.

Hi @Chr1ssy ,
Sorry, I couldn't find it in my router admin panel. Could you send me some instructions on how to do this?
Best Regards,

Hi, MJ24,
In the settings of the Vodafone Station, the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz W-LANs are active in parallel by default, i.e. devices can switch between both standards independently, as both networks use the same SSID.
Now there is an option in the interface of the Vodafone Station to separate these two W-LANs (activate the option "Use separate SSID" in the web interface under General) and as soon as this option is active, the 2.4 GHz W-LAN keeps the assigned SSID, while the 5 GHz W-LAN receives an addition (I think _5G) to the SSID. This means that there are two different networks and the previous terminals remain permanently and exclusively connected to the 2.4 GHz network.
Best Regards,
Maria

Hello @MariaK ,
I am facing the same exact issue where Instagram and one game application are not working, while every other thing including YouTube is working perfectly.
I already split the WLAN into the 2 networks: 2.4 and 5, but this unfortunately hasn't solved my problem.
Can anyone please help?
