Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I find my internet connection extremely frustrating and setting up new tickets in the Vodafone system never solved the issue. I’ve got internet cable connection (GigaZuhause 1000 Kabel) with the standard router. This offer is supposed to offer up to 1000Mbits download and up to 50Mbits upload. Now the reality is that there are days during which download goes to maximum 10Mbits and upload around 0.20Mbits which is not enough to even upload an image or open an email. The WiFi disconnects a few times a day, randomly, and there are days like today where there’s basically no internet at all! I work from home so days like this are extremely stressful and unpredictable and I start to wonder if it’s not the fault of the router itself?
Because I can see my WiFi’s name on the list however connecting doesn’t bring anything. Sometimes WPS signal blinks on the router too.
What can I do in this situation?

Hello @Magda2024
It reads as if you only use it in the WLAN. Please try out the speed via LAN first.
Kind regards

Hey I unfortunately cannot connect by cable because I’m working on a MacBook so I don’t have this specific plug. But I believe that the internet package that I have should guarantee me a stable connection on a WiFi as well. Right now the internet is down completely, again. What’s going on? How can I solve this constant issue?

Unfortunately the problems still persist. Is there any solution available?

Have you ever tried a factory reset?
Here's how to use the reset button:
bend a paper clip apart to do this
Press the reset button for at least 15 seconds (back of the Vodafone station)
Complete! Your Vodafone station will now reset

I just did a factory reset to try if it’ll help, but unfortunately it did not. The internet is down again and this is honestly unacceptable. Restating the modem multiple times a day also doesn’t help, the connection is either completely lost or provides me with 0.2mbits upload speed at best, for a very short time. For someone who has to work from home, this situation is extremely stressful. Is a modem replacement an option? What can be done to solve this issue?

Unfortunately it’s another day when the internet doesn’t work. I contacted Vodafone by phone and was basically given no solution, not even a temporary one. I was told that the infrastructure of the new neighbourhood that I live in isn’t ideal for so many users and their planned cable work won’t take place until 07.2025. Basically Vodafone isn’t able to provide me with what was promised in the contract, because not only I have zero internet access, but once it works, it constantly disconnects and the quality is like from the 90s. How is that legal?
What can be done here?

Unfortunately again there was no solution to my problem. I have contacted Vodafone by WhatsApp as provided above and the only thing I got back were a few automated AI messages. The internet worked slightly today and just dropped again in the evening. I have never had worse internet provider than this one. Again - is there any solution that Vodafone can offer me?
