Hallo,
Ich werde diese Nachricht auf Englisch schreiben, weil mein Deutsch nicht so toll ist.
Ich empfehle jedem, der kein Englisch spricht, meine Nachricht zu übersetzen, wenn er eine unerwartet langsame Verbindung bemerkt, um zu sehen, ob Vodafone seine Verbindung verlangsamt.

 

Dear Customer Service Agent,

I noticed an excessive slow internet connection since one month: about 50Mbps instead of the 1000Mbps of the contract.
My guess is that Vodafone is throttling my connection, and these are the reasons why I reached this conclusion.

  1. There is not a particular time in the day when I have slow connection speed.
  2. I tried to leave only one laptop wired connected without success (I tried different laptops with different browsers)
  3. I tried to cool down the router with fans, without success.
  4. I tried a different router without success.
  5. And now the funny part. I am paying a subscription for a 300 Mbps VPN service. I run a speed test on several websites (even Vodafone website) with and without VPN and these are the results:
    - Without VPN 57 Mbps (results ID number of Vodafone website: dtdrwt687cdw)
    - With VPN 300 Mbps (results ID number of Vodafone website: nrcvttddphds)

What should we do? Can you please stop throttling my connection?
