Constant Ping spikes even with LAN connection

I recently moved in to this student apartment and purchased a contract with Vodafone (more information below) but since installation, there is a constant instability in my ping. It's barely possible to play games and I am very worried about my future online interviews this week. I checked the DOCSIS and saw that the OFDMA was a FAILURE (even if I don't know if that is relevant information).

Can anybody please help me?

  • Nutzt Du ein Leih-Gerät von uns oder hast Du ein eigenes Gerät? Leih-Gerät
  • Welcher Fehler tritt auf? (Geschwindigkeit zu gering; Packetloss) Schicke dazu auch Screenshots von Speedtests (mit Datum und Uhrzeit) und Tracerts/ Pingplotter-Messungen bei Packetloss oder Ping-Problemen. Stelle beim Pingplotter 2,5 Sekunden beim Intervall ein und nutze betroffene Dienste als Ziel.
  • Wie ist Dein Endgerät mit dem Modem verbunden? LAN
  • Welchen Browser verwendest Du normalerweise? Vivaldi
  • Welches Betriebssystem hast Du auf Deinem Rechner? Windows
  • Beginn und Zeitraum der Störung. seit ich es installiert habe

Hello adrien_dimitri,

 

did you do the Pingplotter with an ethernet connection? Does the problem only occur in the evening or during the day as well? Please send me a PM with your customer number, the name and birth date of the contract owner and the full address. Reply here in this thread after you sent the PM.
