Good afternoon
on my Fritzbox 7590, wifi at 2.4 GHz is not working anymore. It is extremily weak.
I did try to restore to default settings and measure, but at 50cm from the router I still measure only -90db for 2.4GHz (and -30db correctly for 5GHz).
What to do ? I suppose it has to be replaced.
Thanks

Hey appliko,
as long as an ssid gets broadcasted, this will most likely not be regognized has a hardwaredefect.
So i cannot guarantee that we can swap the router, but i'll have a look into it.
Feel free to send me a private message with your dsl customernumber / password.
Cheers,
Andre

Hey appliko,
a minimal bandwith via wlan is nothing we can open a technical ticket for , since its affected by countless individual factors.
Did you try to reset the router to factory defaults & switch to a different channel?
Cheers,
Andre

Hi,
I already did it. The measurement about signal is made after a full reset to factory defaults.
Please note that I'm not complaining about bandwidth, but to the fact that 2.4 GHz wifi is almost off.
I did try on channel 1, 6 and 11 and is same: 2.4GHz is almost off.
It was working well until few weeks ago, then 2.4GHz disappeared.
