Vodafone makes a mistake and I'm the one who pays for it?

I've had Vodafone for over a year, and I always top up by transferring money from my account. It's always worked fine. But last time, I paid, and then Vodafone refunded the money without me asking or explaining why. Now, to send the money back, I have to pay an extra euro. They caused a problem that didn't exist before, and I'm the one who has to pay for their mistake. Imagine if this happens to thousands of customers—just think how much the company could make from that. It's really frustrating. Kind of like DB, when they deleted customers' tickets and a bunch of people got fined, even though they had paid for their monthly pass. In the end, everyone had to pay 7 euros because of DB's mistake. It feels like consumers in Germany aren’t getting their rights respected.
