Hello all,
I recently took Vodafone cable connection(1000Mbps plan) in the local Vodafone store.
I was told to take the fastest plan 1000 Mbps plan since it is 19.99 euro per month for the first 6 months. And I can switch to the cheapest 50Mbps plan a week after.
As checking my plan on Mein Vodafone, I am still on the 1000 Mbps plan. Would someone help me with the issue? I have the comments of switching to 50 Mbps on my contract made by the Vodafone staff.
Best Regards,
Jimmy

Hi Jimmy and welcome to the community.
The change is only possible to the 7th month, but of course you can also order it beforehand. In order for a mod in the correct area to report directly, it is important to know which federal state you are from.
It is also important for you to know that the Red Internet & Phone 50 Cable tariff then costs € 29.99 per month. However, if your billing period begins before the changeover, you will be charged the old tariff once that month, but this will be credited back to the day on the next bill.

Hello @Torsten
Thanks for the quick replay. Also, the contract and the service were signed in Thuringen.
So your suggestion is that order the change to a cheaper plan in around the 5th month, right? I am currently in the 3rd month with this new contract.
Also, the average speed (only 260 Mbps) is not always good as said, and the connection is always broken at the moment I turn on my laptop, I have to turn on and turn off the router for that every time.

Then a mod from VFD should look over it and, if necessary, check your connection. The mods can also reserve the downgrade directly.
Have a little patience until someone contacts you here and requests your data via PM.
