I've just noticed that I'm paying €5 monthly for Base Price Adjustment - "Basispreisanpassung
5 EUR (monatlich)". 

Can you please explain what is that & why I need to pay it?

But it doesn't appear as part of the "Red Internet & Phone 100 Cable" product, but under a separate one "Basispreisanpassung
5 EUR (monatlich)". 

This is strange.

Its handled that way so the accountant ends up with an heart attack when the contract states XX and suddenly it jumps 5€ up.

Two lines like contract + increase - easier to trace back what happend.
