I moved into a new apartment and want to take over the Vodafone Festnetz contract from the previous tenant (who moved out of Germany). Myself and the previous tenant together filled out the contract transfer form and now I am trying to send it to Vodafone. The form only says to fax it to the number 0 18/10 70 011. I have tried many times to send the fax but it always fails. Is there an alternative way I can send the contract transfer form to Vodafone (such as by an e-mail attachment)?

Hey BananaJam,
does the previous tenant use a fixed network contract or a cable contract from Vodafone? In the first case the customer number starts with 0019... In which federal state do you live?

I am not sure which type of contract the previous tenant had. Their Kundennummer starts with 1329, maybe it is a cable contract? I live in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.

Thanks Grit for your response. I am a bit confused on how use the contact form. When I click the link in your message, I am directed to the following page: https://www.vodafone.de/hilfe/kontakt-zu-vodafone.html. If I click the link for "Produktberatung und Bestellung", I am directed to a page simply listing a phone number, with no way to send my contract transfer form. If I click the link for "Kundenservice", I get a search page and searching for "Vertragsübernahme" gives no results. What should I do?

on the form for contract transfer, it is described on which way the form must be returned to us. You can also send it by mail.If you enter proof in the contact form, you will also get on the right track.
