Contract cancellation

Good day,

I move to my new apartment on the first of September(1.09.2021), and at the new address, Vodafone does not provide kabel internet,  which is necessary for me to work. Do I understand correctly that according to  § 46 Abs. 8 Satz 3 TKG, the earliest possible day of the contract termination is 3 months after I move to a new place (or the start of my new rent contract), so for me, this date is 1.12.2021?

12 days ago I wrote an email to kundenservice@unitymedia.de, that I would like to terminate my contract and I'm moving to the new place at 1st of September, but I still didn't have any reply. Is it ok that I don't have any reply except for an automatically generated message just after my email?

So I would like to terminate my current contract as soon as possible and send back to Vodafone the equipment I rent from the company. What is the address where I should send the equipment? At the present moment, due to the absence of any reply from the company, I have to travel with Vodafone devices through all of Germany which is not really comfortable for me.

That is correct under the circumstance you mentioned...

This email address is only valid for consumers in Hesse, Northrhine-Westphalia and Baden-Württemberg. If you live in any other federal state, this email adress is NOT valid for you - you'll instead have to use the contact form -or- write a letter to Erfurt...

Anyhow it's better not to directly cancel but instead to report a move. Vodafone will then check if they can provide you the services and in case they cannot will cancel the contract in accordance to the Telecommunications law.

This depends on your contractual partner - as there are two different brances for cable services. And they differ by the federal state you live in...
