Cancel contract as moving abroad

Liebes Team, ich habe über die Vodafone-App eine Kündigungsanfrage gestellt, aber sie wird immer noch als ausstehend angezeigt. Bitte kündigen Sie meinen Vertrag zum 30. Juni 2024, da ich aus Deutschland weggezogen bin.

Hallo Neha1,

wenn Du über die App gekündigt hast, wird Deine Kündigung nur vorgemerkt. Diese musst Du dann über die Hotline noch bestätigen. In Deinem Fall ist es aber eine Sonderkündigung, wo wir eine Abmeldebescheinigung aus Deutschland benötigen. Hierfür musst Du uns eine Kopie zusenden.

I haven't deregistered yet. When I deregister, I will leave Germany immediately. Can I still cancel the contract immediately without the so-called "3-month notification time" ?

I will leave Germany at the end of September 2024. I will deregister at the end of September. So you recommend me to cancel my contract at the end of September instead of now, right?

Report a move otherwise it will be a cancellation to minimum contract term.

Where can I report a move? Maybe can you kindly provide a link?
In "meinvodafon", I do notice the "Umzug" section, but there I do not see where I can enter the country I am moving to...
