I have a problem regarding a HP printer that has been connected to Wifi ever since I bought it and has worked without any issues. The last router I had that worked with the printeer was the Connect-Box and it worked perfectly. I upgraded to the 1000mbp/s connection. With this new Vodafone station router, I cannot connect my HP-Deskjet printer wia WPS. There is no option to setup the printer using WPS-PIN either.
I have tried and nothing has worked
* disabling bad steering
* specifying band-steering for specific MAC-addresses, i.e the printer's mac-address
* using the HP-Smart app, both on mac-OS and iOS. (failes at joining network step)
Trying to set it up on the printer using WPS, I get WPS-Error. How can I get my printer connected and why is there no optiion to connect a device using a WPS-Pin?
