Sorry for posting in English since I cannot speak German but you can reply back in German if you understand my question and you can help. I bought a used Fritz modem from a vodafone user (she confirmed that it was her own modem) and started using it instead of my rental vodafone modem that I got with my subscription 3 years ago. Now, can I return this vodafone modem back to Vodafone since they are probably charging monthly rental cost. If yes, how can I return and stop paying modem rental cost?

Welche Fritzbox hast du denn gekauft? Wie lautet die Artikelnummer? In welchem Bundesland lebst du?

FritzBox 6660 Cable, item #: 20002932, Frankfurt Hessen

But I connected it and it works in my home? She also said it belongs to them not Vodafone (unless she did not know). If she sold a device that belongs to Vodafone, can I still use it or I should not use it?

Your box is a rental box. This cannot be activated. The reason why this works for you is that it is still activated on the previous owner's contract.

Thank you for the valuable inputs so I will put my previous vodafone modem back. I also purchased two fritz repeaters, can I use them with my Vodafone modem, I guess this should not be a problem.
