Multimedia adapter does NOT fit with the socket on the wall

Hello,

I live in Berlin. I have ordered Vodafone CableBox with self installation more than 1 week ago and I still do not have internet. I have a socket with 2 outputs in my apartment and I have to use Multimedia Adapter as I understood from installation guide. But the adapter that was sent to me doesn't fit the socket on the wall. The distance between two inputs on the adapter is greater than the socket. I would really appreciate any help. What should I do now?
