Arris cable modem needs restart every week

Hello,

Arris cable modem every week stops to send packets I have to restart it to get internet back. When that happens no DOCSIS problems reported and internet led is whte and not blinkning. But ping is very-very unstable,  mosltly no ping at all or ~3000 ms. After restart everything looks fine for another week, make an impression of some sort resource leakeage. 

Start to happens this year, in 2021 I did not see that problem.

Fimware AR01.04.046.07_072921_7244.PC20.10.X1 hardware version 7.  Any suggestions? Need the new box? Any plans to release new firmware?

unfortunately u r right -

the Vodafone-Station Arris TGA3442 with the actual firmware should be restarted as often as possible

using a Fritz!Box is a good idea - rent it or buy an own, however

if u are not using a gigabit-line  right now, change your contract 2 CableMaxx 1000 ask 4 a Vodafone-Station with Wifi-6 - or a Fritz!Box
