I need to restart my cable modem 4-5 times a day. Especially in the prime times, modem connection is lost. WiFi is not visible, my cable modem name is not listed among wifi list. I need to restart the cable modem,sometimes i restart it 3-4 times succesively. Even if the internet connection is problematic, I should be able to connect to the modem. However, i cannot connect to cable modem, its not listed in wifi list. Do i need to get a replacement cable modem?
Ich muss mein Kabelmodem 4-5 Mal am Tag neu starten. In der Hauptsendezeit geht normalerweise eine Modemverbindung verloren. WLAN ist nicht sichtbar. Mein Name des Kabelmodems ist nicht in der WLAN-Liste aufgeführt. Ich muss das Kabelmodem neu starten, manchmal starte ich es 3-4 Mal nacheinander neu. Selbst wenn die Internetverbindung problematisch ist, sollte ich eine Verbindung zum Modem herstellen können. Ich kann jedoch keine Verbindung zum Kabelmodem herstellen, das nicht in der WLAN-Liste aufgeführt ist. Benötige ich ein Ersatzkabelmodem?

is only the connection via WLAN lost or also via LAN?

I tested and only connection with WLAN is lost. I can connect to internet with LAN (with an ethernet cable to modem).

I have been using the new modem for a while. We didnt have connection problem with the new modem. Thank you for the new device and for your help.
