No Cable internet connection - PLEASE HELP!

Hi,

 

I applied for a cable-internet connection via one of your Beraterin Direktvertreib Privatkunden last week. She told me that all i have to do was after I receive the modem, I have to connect it to the port and internet will work. Unfortuantely its been a few days since I received the modem and after i connected it. The red light is blinking and after a few internet searches I found that the issue was with coonection.

I tried calling the service number (08002787000 and 0800526625) for a technician a few times. After having to wait for like 40 mins each call for access to the customer service person, the moment i say Hi, he/she rejects the call. Unfortunately i don't speak german. I don't know what to do, how to resolve the issue. The lady who enrolled me to the plan dosen't respond anymore.  I can't even book an appointment for the conneciton. Please help.!

It's pretty impossible to survive with no internet connection especially during work-from-home during corona virus times. 

I took the connection as she promised to set up in 2-3 days tops.

Hi Arun,

My message will not help you, but I hope you will be able to find a way to fix it. On this forum, my problem has not been solved yet, but some employees from Vodafone got in touch with me and maybe tomorrow they will work on this. Anyway, they do speak English here, unlike the hotline where all English speakers got hanged up once we managed to get through the loooong waiting time. This is sad, but true. I do not understand why Vodafone's hotline is so harsh and reluctant to speak English.

I can only tell you this, I am sure the employees on this forum will help you.
