[English help needed] Issue with kabel installation

So I'm sorry for writing in English but my German isn't so great and I'm getting really frustrated now.

 

I applied for Kabel on 16th September, was told I could do self installation, router arrived the next day, great.  Got home from work, plugged it in, nothing happened.  Tried the other line in my house, again nothing happened.  Called the tech support line, thankfully the guy was willing to speak English (apparently they're not authorised to?!) and told me he'd try and fix it overnight.  Trouble ticket closed at lunchtime the next day, figured it was fixed.  Got home from work, still the red blinking light of doom, no internet.  Another phone call and I was told we needed an engineer.  Tried to call the company all day Saturday, no answer.  Evenutally got through on Monday afternoon, appointment booked for this morning (24th).  Took the morning off work.  Engineer arrives at 10am, told him I only speak a little German.  Most people are pretty accomodating of this and will slow down/change the words they use/make sure I understand.  This guy, not so much.  He was there for a little while then told me he couldn't fix it, told me why (but I didn't understand) and then told me I need another appointment.  Which I can't get until the 5th October.

 

All I need is for someone to check my account, explain what the issue was today and why he couldn't fix it, and why I have to wait so long.  I sometimes need to work from home and can't at the moment, not to mention that I live in a valley where cell signal is dodgy so I have no phone, no internet, no TV, no communication with anyone back home, and now won't have for another 2 weeks!

 

Can someone help?

If you have a Vodafone-SIM, please also send the number of it. I will give some volume on it to compensate the waiting-time.
