So I received the first invoice for my new contract. On May 27, I went to a Vodafone Store in Bilk Arcaden to make a contract and order a new cellphone. I booked the option M for people under 27 years old. First, the lady that assisted me told me everything so fast and simply said that I had to pay one time 39,99 and that them the first payment was going to be AT THE END of June. She said the first year would be 29,99 per month and the second year 39,99. I agreed to it.
First, now I have the invoice stating you charged me 14,19€ por the 11 days between the 28th May and 7th June. I understand. Even though the lady NEVER told me I would get charged for it but ok, it’s understandable because it’s obvious you don’t give away free days if I already received the SIM Card.
Second, in the Basispreis/Paketpreis, I see 39,99 euros charged for the “first month”, as in from the 8th June until the 7th July. My question is: WHY 39,99€ when I was told the first year would be 29,99€? And second, why do you charge me the 7th of EACH month, if I was told it was going to be AT THE END of the month?
Third, there is 10 cents charged for “Vodafone Secure Net/Antelig 3 Tage).
Once again, I wasn’t told about this payment either.
Please help me understand.
The main problem for me is how the lady did not tell me about anything, he did not give any details and just said very superficial and fast information. It seems she just said it fast in order for me to sign and just get done with it. That is not fair and as a big company you need to explain to your customers why you do it, especially if we decide to sign a contract and give you important information, such a where we live and our bank account details. I still don't understand the charged I have, how you organize the dates and all of that. Please answer as soon as you can.

Hi @valeria_jr10,
it's great you signed up with Vodafone - and thanks for joining the Community - welcome!
Sorry you're not happy with the way you have been explained the details of your contract.
I'll try to sort this out.
The 1st bill shows the proportionate base price starting with the contract's first day and ending with the last day of the billing period.
It's true that the billing period does not normally coincide with the calendar month, so, the shop lady was probably just referring to the period's duration, which is 1 month's time.
The 10 Euro discount: Currently, there is an online sales offer that saves you 10 Euro each month for 6 to 12 months. Some stores may offer this as well.
I will gladly check and find out what happened in your case and find a solution if you send me a private message.
10 cent for Vodafone Secure Net: This additional security feature should show on your contract printout. You can easily cancel it via your MeinVodafone app. Else, I'll be glad to assist.
Best regards
Micha
