Hello,
I will be moving apartments and I have seen that Vodafone is available in my new neighbourhood so I would like to change my address soon.
I want to know, what is the process, I can keep my current contract the same and how long does it take for it to be up and running? I am currently connected by cable. Can I take my router and gigabox (tv) and then once I have connected it up in the new apartment, how soon will it be active. I would make the request to change my address just before leaving using this (https://www.vodafone.de/hilfe/alles-zum-umzug.html)

on our moving page you are already on the right track. Please inform us about your move with your new address and date of move. You will then also see if we can continue to supply you via cable at your new address. Take your equipment with you and connect it in your new apartment. Should this not work, a technician will help you with the installation. Usually you can use this yourself and your connection again.

Perfect! I already checked and saw that the area is a Vodafone area. How long does it take to be connected at the new address from the point of changing address online?

As a rule, we recommend to notify the move 14 days in advance. If it is of course short notice, this is also no problem.

Hello, just to follow up. We just got confirmation of a date where we can move into the new apartment (with our stuff) which is this Saturday (10.10.2020). Will this be available as soon as we set it up on the day or will it take some time to work? I have just logged the move and date with the link I sent in the post description.

currently I can't see the move in the system yet, unfortunately it takes some time. Nevertheless, it should not come to problems. You take your devices on Saturday to the new address and connect them there.

Hi again, I am currently in my new apartment and tried connecting up the internet but it is not working. I tried to log the address in again, it says exam successful but I do not receive any email confirmation. Please could you PM me in order to sort this ASAP? thanks a lot

I still cannot see a move in the system. It seems that you have not reported this to the removal service. Please do so, because otherwise they can't help you if the installation doesn't work.
