Downgrade von 200 auf 50 Cable

Hi there! 

I would like to downgrade from 200 to 50. All my end devices are not designed for the 200 connection, so I cannot use the fast connection at all. 

 

Would be very nice if someone could take care of it.

Hello YoussefHassan,

 

you have made an upgrade on 04.12.2018 also the 200 Mbit/s. The contract has a duration of 24 months and kine change guarantee included. Therefore a downgrade also 50 Mbit/s is only possible at the end of the contract period on 04.12.2020. We are not able to process this at this time. Therefore you should contact us about 3-4 months before the date. One more note: The tariff change from 200 to 50 Mbit/s is charged with a one-time fee of 19.99 Euro. Currently the price for 50 Mbit/s is 29.99 Euro per month. At the moment, we cannot say whether the tariff will still exist at the time of the changeover and under what conditions.

Thanks for your message. I'm having internet speed of 20 Mbps on that claimed 200 Mbps. This is the reason I'd like to downgrade to be less ridicolous with this. I've been suffering from this low speed that is not even 10% of what I'm paying for more than a year. And I upgraded to 200Mbps thinking it would improve the situation.

 

So it's either you would be able to fix it or downgrade due to your failure to give what you claim.

if you have problems with your connection, we should have a look on this.

 

From what I can see, your router is five years old. We could replace it with a newer model. Would you be okay with that?

Yes we can try that for sure. And check the speed test, if it's still less than 50 it's not my fault to stay on the 200 Mbps, does that make sense?

Hey, I think currently the speed is acceptable although sometimes the internet goes down completely but that's another story.

 

I was also charged 100 euros in my last bill, is that the new router, should I pay for that?
