Hello,
my contract ended on 14.11.2019 and I have returned the DSL router on 17.12.2019 due to relocation (though connected through Vodafone partner). However I still see that I have been charged EUR 100 for probably non returning the Wifi router. The reason on the invoice is 'Preis für Nichtrücksendung W-LAN eMTA'.
Can you please help me in this regard?
Kind regards,
Goutam

Hello gkdgoutam,
I still have your customer data and took a look. Unfortunately the cable router arrived us too late. That's why the costs were invoiced.
Since the cable router is back in the meantime, I'll refund you the amount. It can take 2 to 4 weeks before you have it on your bank account.
Best regards
Tina

The router must be returned 14 days after the end of the contract. That would have been the 28.11.2019. There is nothing more to be done now.

Hello Kurt,
what do you mean by nothing more to be done? I am really surprised with your answer!
I had contacted Vodafone several times before termination in this community. And noone has informed me that it has to be returned within 2 weeks. In fact I wanted to return the DSL router before the end of contract and here only I got suggestion that I can not return either before termination.
Here you can see the thread where I did ask for help and form Vodafone I did not receive any message on what you are saying now.
First you don't say clearly when asked several times on the return and when I return you say nothing can be done !!
I have returned the router box roughly at one one month time. This should not be probematic. Moreover the router has been received by the Vodafone.
Kind reagards,
Goutam

Hello Goutam,
yes, you can´t send the router back before the contract ends. But as I said, the device has to be sent back within 14 days. With DSL devices, there is no goodwill if the device was sent back late.
Wait until a moderator reports here. Maybe he has a way to help you.
Kind regards
Kurt

Hi Kurt,
noone would be interested to keep the router for 14 to 17 days only to misuse 🙂
If there could be some way to see when is the last time the router was ON, they can certainly check that.
The unfortunate thing is I wanted to avoid these kind of situations but fell into this trap again.
There is no clear instruction from the customer service. From the website, it is very difficult to find any helpful information. Till date I could not find the return policy after hours of looking for it on webpage!
Moreover I am still connected to Vodafone through UnityMedia in Germany.
Let's see what moderator has to say. There should be some way and I am hopeful.
Kind regards,
Goutam

Hello, Appoligies for the English only. I exchanged my router for the New.6592 and returned the unit serial # ***via DHL ***, but my account was charged for it. I assume it was because it arrived late but I could not get to DHL immediatly due to the SIP ordanance in Munich. How do I get a refund ?
