Hi everyone,

I just have a Gigabit Internet connection with a Wlan Kabeldeutschland modem.

I just isntalled my own dns server in home and use my own advanced hardware firewall.

The only problem which remains is vodafone router built in firewall!

When I turned it off it will remains off only for 24 hours and will turn on automatically!

So How can I turn it off permanently?

also here is my Firmware version: 01.01.117.01.EURO

Thanks a lot and have a lovley day.

I have already tried a hardware reset before.

Did you do anything now specifically ?

Unless you did something now specifically, I don't see the point of doing the hardware reset again, since it will not change anything, aside from dropping all my DHCP leases and wifi customization.

Please let me know

Hello alexnastas1,

I'm sorry, I didn't know you already did that.

Do you want to try a router swap?

Best regards

Moni

Moni,

I don't think there is anything wrong with my router. I think this is just the way it's designed. It is designed to re-enable the Firewall after 24h hours. I get a message about this. So how would a router swap solve my problem ?

I was asking if by any chance there is trick to disable the firewall permanently. Maybe there is a specific firmware that I could install ?
